1. What this policy covers
This policy describes information processed when you use Silver’s website, account features, retirement simulations, health summaries, caregiver tools, location search, and safety features. It does not cover third-party websites you choose to visit.
2. Information you provide
We may process account details, retirement-planning inputs, daily wellness check-ins, messages you submit for scam analysis, caregiver connections, and support communications. Do not submit information you do not have permission to share.
3. Connected health and location data
Health summaries are stored only after you authorize a supported connection. Location requested from the Life page is used for that search and is not saved by the Life search feature. A companion health integration may separately save encrypted coordinates only when you explicitly share them.
4. How information is used
We use information to provide requested calculations and recommendations, secure accounts, prevent abuse, operate caregiver sharing selected by the senior, maintain the service, and comply with law. Silver does not sell personal health or financial planning data.
5. Service providers and external links
We may send the minimum necessary input to configured infrastructure, maps, meal, or AI providers to perform a feature you request. Affiliate and external links take you to third parties with their own privacy practices.
6. Security and retention
We use access controls, encrypted transport, password hashing, and encryption for designated sensitive fields. No system is perfectly secure. We retain information while needed for your account, legal obligations, security, and backups, then delete or de-identify it according to operational schedules.
7. Your choices
You can review profile information, disconnect caregiver or health connections, export supported account data, and request account deletion from Settings. Some records may be retained where legally required or preserved temporarily in protected backups.
8. Children and changes
Silver is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as features or laws change and will revise the date above.
9. Contact
For privacy questions, use the support contact published for Silver or the repository’s designated support channel. Do not send passwords, full Social Security numbers, or payment credentials.
